Founded in 1884, Hochstadter's Slow and Low is America's original bottled Rock and Rye. Historically, Rock and Ryes were offered as a palatable saloon treat, and used "medicinally" during prohibition. Slow and Low is union-made by Philadelphia's Local 500, using rock candy, Florida navel oranges, raw honey and aged rye whiskey.
